The story, in depth talks about one’s freedom and what we can do to enjoy our lives.
It is meant for PG-16 or even PG-18 since it is a full feature animation movie for grown-ups.
Our story starts at a school, where our main character Tom is currently studying. Tom is your avarage schoolboy at first sight. Brown medium cut hair, brown eyes and a small beard. He is wearing blue shirt and jeans, with white sneakers. As we are closely introduced to the background we understand that he is attending biology class. Most of the students, if not all are tired and bored, resting their head on their books, but not Tom. We see him excitingly listening the teacher and taking notes. Topic in the class are birds. Teacher, who is also with a tired attitude slows slides and slowly talking about different type of bird migration. Seems that even she isn’t interested in her own class.
Bell rings! Everybody start to gather their things, as if all the energy in the world has returned to them. Our Tom who also packs his things, walks to the teacher and asks where was one of the picture taken. Teacher answers that somewhere in Japan and says that she really doesn’t care when and how as long as she can use it in slides.

Schoolday is over and Tom jumps with his friend Matt to
Matts van. Matt is Toms best friend. We can see that Matt has a tattoo on his
arm, still being a senior as he is. Tom and Matt are in different classes. Matt
in his all awesome character is a musician and a drummer. So as they enter the
van, we can see lots of cool instruments in the back.
Matt starts to talk about a girl she saw at the concert last night. We notice that he is quite of jerk in his own way, but somehow it suits him. As Matt talks his crap we notice that Tom isn’t listening at all but reading a biology book. Matt tired of talking to himself asks Tom, if everything was ok. Tom answers to him that he saw awesome pictures today at school. We learn that Tom is into photography and used to make pictures for the school newspaper until he was fired, since he made everyone look bad and nobody liked him there. We feel that Matt sympethises towards Tom and asks if he wants to come to his concert tonight for free, Tom agrees.
As Matt drops Tom off we see that he lives in two-story flat. We enter his house and notice lots of pictures on the walls. All the pictures seem to be the same yet different. More we see the pictures the more we notice they have been taken place in the same area and even town. Yet they are very artistic and cool. Tom waves to his mother who is smoking in the kitchen and quite moody. Tom quickly walks into his room and we see that his whole room is covered with pictures and posters. Above his bed there is a huge map of earth, filled with small red dots. First thing he does, after throwing his bag into the pile of clothes, is that he takes a small red thumbtack and sticks it on the coast of Japan. We see that there could be over 100 small red thumbtack on the wall. He opens his computer and starts to read news about the world.
After some time his father knocks on the door and enters into Toms room. He sits on his bed and starts to talk about collages. Tom doesn’t seem to like where the topic is going and slowly, yet politely says that he doesn’t know what he wants to do, but he definitely doesn’t want to do as told. His father starts to get a bit angrier and says that soon all doors are closed and that he will be left with nothing. Now we can see that Tom is getting really annoyed. He notices the time and takes his camera leaving home in a hurry.
We see him arriving at a local club like place, where Matt is smoking with other people. Matt sees his friend and starts waving and dancing in celebration. He seems to bit a drunk and acting with funny British accent. We can see Tom smiling and laughing again. Before they go inside the club through the backdoor, Tom asks if its ok to take some pictures. Matt tells him to relax and when inside tells the club manager that his bands personal PR guy is here to shoot the band. Manager seems to be already sick of the brat and walks away cursing, everything is ok.
Next up we see Matt and his band - ,, Homeless Tooth fairy” playing. The whole club is filled with people and Tom is standing in the edge of the backstage taken pictures of both the band and the crowd. He suddenly notices smoking hot girls in the first row rocking their socks off in a very comic way. Tom shakes his head and takes some pictures. We can see Matt as well – needless is to say that he was one of the happiest guys in the club. His eyes were all closed and he just gave himself into the music. Tom looks at him and we can see he is happy for his friend and yet he seems a bit sad, perhaps for himself. He turns away and heads to the backstage.
As he makes into the backstage we can see a lot of cans and drunk people partying there. Tom sits down next to huge dude who seems to be one of the headliners. He was sitting alone on the couch looking at TV that was playing. He has long hair and all of his hand are filled with tattoos. His face looks very sleepy and his posture supports the fact that he has sat on that spot entire night. Tom sits quietly there and waits for Matt to finish his gig. As he is sitting there the huge guy says that : ,,alright take that damn picture.” Figures that the dude saw Toms huge camera. Tom was a bit shocked by that and seems to be afraid of the man. He politely says that he didn’t want to take a picture of him. The man turns his head back to his center position and says good. All of a sudden a very drunk dude runs by the TV with two women asking who wants to be first. Our huge dude doesn’t even seem to notice that, but when they exit the room he says : “ Today is going to be an interesting night.”
Tom asks with a bit of a mumbling as to why he says that.
Guy answers : „ Since everytime that prick goes to the toilet with two women our show will be delayed.“ After saying that he starts to laugh in small chunks.
On that Tom asks that where are you guys from and he finds out that it was their 40th concert of the tour and originally they come from Australia. The huge guys name was Jack and his band was called the „Devils Sword.“ We understand that Tom doesn’t listen to that sort of music and that he was only there to explore something new. Tom find out that Jack has infact traveled the whole world and that he has done it for past 15 years. We start to notice that Tom really admires Jack for who he was not as a music groupie but as a fellow traveler. When Jack asks where Tom has been, he answers that he has only been to the near by towns and nowhere further. Jack seems to be very sympethetic towards Tom as he understands that boys has a heart of a traveler, yet he has never seen beyond the boarder of his own state.

Their chat is interupted by Matt who now has finished his
gig and comes backstage all sweaty. He notices Tom talking to Jack and quickly
runs to them. As he starts to run a
security guy holds them and says that DS’s fans not allowed. Seems that the
security guy didn’t notice when Tom casually entered the restricted area. Tom ,
not wanting to couse any fuss says goodbye to Jack and stands up. Before
exiting the area Jack says, first time with a strong voice that ,, I will see
you man!“ They both start to laugh.
As Tom walks with Matt to the right backstage, we can see that Matt is completely blown away. He doesn’t belive his eyes and ears that Tom has talked with world famous guitarrist Jack White. Yet Matt isn’t very jealous, he is more excited that unhappy that he couldn’t talk to him. As they enter to their backstage we see the room full with people and booze. Tom looks to left and right and tells Matt that he must go as he had lots to do for the next day. Matt tries to hold Tom from going but in the end doesn’t make a huge fuss.
As Tom arrieves home we can see his parents fighting in the living room. They barely notice that tom came home 12 o’clock. Tom casually, like any other day, goes into his room and goes to sleep. While laying in bed we hear that his parents are still fighting and it seems the issues are financial. At one point his father says that Tom must go to collage or else his whole life will be an unhappy tale of failures. Hearing it Tom miserably takes the pillow and puts it on his head.
When the morning arrives, we gradually skip back to school. It looks as if it is the last day of school and only the exams are left to do. Everybody are happy that the school is about to end and people are talking about how to enjoy the summer. We follow Tom as he is sitting in the caffateria with Matt who is obviously hung over, with black shades on. Tom starts to make fun of Matt and we can see that Matt is really feeling so bad that he doesn’t even answer to Tom. Before leaving the table Tom says that ,, Get your game face on, since now its time to roll.“

As the music fades out we can the both of them sitting on
the bench next to a hill with their fancy suites and diplomas next to the
trashcan. It seems that they are in the middle of some sort of inside
conversation while sharing a beer in a beatiful sunset view. Matt looks at the
sun and says that he is going to miss life in here. Seems that his plans are
set for a fancy city life where it should be easier to succeed in music career.
When Matt asks what does Tom plan to do, he slowly responds that nothing. Seems
its the first time Tom has shared his ideas with Matt.
Matt: „ Nothing – dude don’t tell me you want to stay here.
If enyone I would have believed that you were the first one to ditch this place
after the graduation.“
Tom: „ But dude where should I go? I mean yeah I would love to see the world but I don’t have any real skills. And I don’t want to become my father man. No thats out of question. I have been told whole my life that with great grades I will have whatever I want in this world. But thats impossible, its a sad lie that is told to manipulate and tease the kids.“
Matt watches Tom and nods his head with approval. He feels sorry for his friend.
Next up we follow Matt to his home. We notice that Matts room is filled with band posters and instruments that he simply can’t know how to play. He sits at his computers and starts to look for pictures. He stumbels on the Toms folder and looks at the photos he has taken during the last time he was at their gig. Matt seems to like them alot. He suddenly makes his eyes very big and starts to write smth, with furious intencity. We are zoomed out of his room and into exterior view of his house where we can see that he is heavily working throughout the night.
Next we see Tom at his home laying on a bed and playing with some rubber ball. Looks as if the school is over he has got nothing to do now. Seems logical aswell since he has done mostly every picture available in his town. Then we hear a phone ringing downstairs and his mother picks it up.
Mother : Yes... What... Who are you?..... Why have you been looking at my son... YOU ARE A SICK PERSON AND DON*T FORGET THAT..
Suddenly father interupts her and asks who the hell is it. Mother screams out that this sick pervert has been checking out Toms blog for few days now. As soon as Tom hears it he runs downstairs grabs phone from mothers hand and says that Toms is listening now.
Man on phone : Hey Tom. Quite of a family you got there. Listen my name is Greg Danger and I’m responsible for RICK Label companys PR division. Few days ago an e-mail was sent to me by some unknown source and when I checked it out I was stunned by the quality and artistic view of this pics. When closely checking out the author your name came up with all credentials, so here I am offering a part time job, if interested.
Tom : What kind of job?
Man on phone : Well summer is coming and I have lots of bands that are cruising through the festivals. Thing is that I need a man who could cover all the events and hold our bands up to date. Do you think I can count on you?
Tom : When do I start?
This is the end of Act 1. In second Act Tom gets to travel and meet new people during the festivals and starts to grow fond of a girl who is responsible for lightning equipment in the field. As they travel he also starts to find out that he is really good with camera shooting and he is starts to give thought about going into media school to study PR. As he keeps collecting money for his new dream he founds out that the label hasn’t been honest with the deal. As his parent keep getting bills for all the costs of his traveling. Tom finds it out at the very end of the summer and when he returns to home he finds out that his parents are really stressed off about the money.They tried to contact him but he changed nr. with new job and didn't told them the new nr.
On Act III Tom with the help of his new girlfriend ( The lightning girl) start to make a documentary about how the label treats its people and how it steals from band. Finally he sues the label and Greg Danger. Finally when the verdict comes in they say that label isn’t guilty and Tom still doesn’t get to cover the expences. Then out of the blue Jack comes out with all of his celeb. friends to the court room after the verdict ( bytw. Matt and his new band go nuts there :D ) and all of his friends who are in the label say that they have quit, driving the bad label into bankruptcy. The musicians see that Tom isn’t very moved by it since inside he still is a good lad and doesn’t thrive upon others misfortune. But all of a suddenly Jack says to Tom that even he has quit his own label. Tom is confused since Jack is an allstar and why would he have done it. It turns out that all of the guys Tom had worked with loved him and want to keep working with him for forceeable future. So Jack makes a proposition to create a new label where he can take care of the whole PR campaign. The story ends with a fairytale like ending where everyone are happy and Tom finds his place doing what he does best!
